Alex Leapai has retained the OPBF Title after an epic struggle with Michael Kirby. Both fighters traded heavy blows for the entire 12 rounds and the crowd was on it's feet as the fight came to an end.
Kirby showed great strength to remain in the twelve round contest in what was only his 6th fight...
The Little BIG Man Chris McCullen is now a 2-Time Australian Champion after a third round TKO of John Cotterill Jnr.
McCullen dropped Cotterill in the first round and was ahead on all cards when Cotterill was forced to retire with a dislocated shoulder.
The premature ending robbed fight fans of what was shaping to be an all time classic.
